Friday July 19 – Sunday July 21, 2024 Brookings, South Dakota Econo Lodge – 2515 East 6th Street Dear Sisters and Brothers, The 5-State Gathering will be held in Brookings, South Dakota on July 19-July 21, 2024. It will be our pleasure to host our Sisters and Brothers from Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and South Dakota (alphabetical, don’t you know!). Dress is casual for all events. A block of rooms at the Econo Lodge is being held through June 19, 2024 (Dbl queen $95.00 plus tax). For reservations call: 605-692-3111 or 605-692-9421. On Friday, July 19, we will have registration at the hotel starting at 1:00 p.m. There will be a packet with information on local items of interest. Such as local museums, gardens, “Little House on the Prairie”, and the Terry Redlin Museum. T here will be a basket “auction” and all money collected will be divided between the states that provide baskets to contribute to the charity of their own choosing. There will be an evening banquet on both Friday and Saturday evening. There is a Continental Breakfast at the hotel. You are on your own for lunch on Saturday. We will have ice breaker games on Friday evening and entertainment after the Saturday evening banquet – a magician, so look forward to being amazed and amused! Sunday morning there will be a brief church service to send all on their way with a blessing! We hope to see you all in Brookings!
